Restoring the East Façade

For the first time in the hotel’s history, the original brickwork on the east side of the main building has been exposed as part of the façade restoration. Although these bricks have never been visible to guests, their discovery offers a rare glimpse into the building's architectural past. Once the modernization is complete, the façade will be redone to restore its full grandeur, ensuring a refreshed and elegant appearance. This careful process of uncovering and restoring the hidden structure allows us to preserve the building’s authenticity while creating a beautifully renewed exterior.

Reviving Elegance: Color Tests for Staircase Handrails

In an effort to restore the iconic ambiance of the hotel's staircases, a series of colour tests have been conducted on the handrails. This delicate process allows us to reintroduce the elegance and warmth that have always characterized these spaces, as we aim to preserve the atmosphere while seamlessly integrating modern comforts. These small but meaningful details enhance the overall guest experience, creating a sense of timelessness.

New heating below the Orangerie


We are pleased to announce that, among many other technical refinements, a new heating system is being installed under the Orangerie. This modern heating solution not only enhances the comfort for our guests but also reflects our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. By equipping our hotel with state-of-the-art technology, we ensure that our guests can enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the premises in absolute comfort—even during the cooler months—without compromising the aesthetic integrity.

Culinary Exchange: Brenners Meets the Riviera (again)

Many of our employees have already had the opportunity to spend some time at our sister hotel, Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc. Now it was time for Stefan Naatz, head chef of our Wintergarten restaurant, to experience the Mediterranean atmosphere and gain new insights on the Côte d'Azur. Throughout September, he supported the local kitchen team with his expertise. We are excited to hear about the experiences he has gathered over the past four weeks and look forward to him sharing them with us upon his return to Brenners.
