From the construction site to the Côte d'Azur

Three of our talented employees are currently working at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, bringing a touch of the Brenners to the guests. During the modernization of the main building, many of our team members have already had the opportunity to expand their skills in other renowned hotels. Marcel Hertweck, Pascal Kinninger and Louise Fröhlich are currently on site and are enriching the culinary experience with their expertise and passion. They will soon bring the experience and impressions they have gained back to our team and make the offer for our guests even more varied.

Pascal: One of my most impressive moments was the Amfar-Gala, which we were allowed to host. To participate there and to take part in this event was a great honor for me.

Louise: I am overwhelmed every day by the friendliness, support and acceptance of my colleagues.

Marcel: The first wedding this season was my most impressive moment and a unforgettable day. I was amazed by the overall organisation and the team spirit lived by all the participants acting behind the scenes.

Perfect base

On the construction site further significant progress has been made. New screed has already been laid on floors 2 and 3 and the remaining areas will follow shortly. Unevenness has been carefully evened out and the screed has been provided with impact sound insulation and calcium sulphate. These measures ensure a stable and sound-absorbing foundation that significantly increases both the comfort and quality of the rooms for our guests.

Copper shine for the rain

New rain gutters are currently being installed in the upper section of the roof truss. These copper gutters, especially for the drainage of the balconies, were chosen for their aesthetic elegance and the requirements of monument protection. The use of copper combines functionality and historical authenticity, which is a harmonious addition to our modernization measures. This improvement contributes significantly to preserving the unique charm of our building.

Supply routes for the future

The modernization is progressing and the integration of the installation shafts is a significant milestone. A total of 15 shafts, extending from the basement to the top floor, are being installed. They enable the efficient routing of water, electricity and other supply routes, ensuring that all floors are optimally supplied. The central arrangement facilitates future maintenance and extensions so that our guests can benefit from a harmonious ambience.

We are excited about the upcoming weeks and months as we progress with the renovation of our main building. We will keep you updated regularly on the progress and provide you with exclusive insights into the changes our hotel is undergoing.
