Progress in the technical control center

All the technical systems come together in the new technical control center under the Fritz&Felix terrace. The pipes are being installed and connected step by step. The hotel's newly installed main cooling system will soon replace the temporary cooling system (shown in the picture on the right). Large quantities of soil had to be excavated for the construction of the technical control center. Concrete was poured here to ensure a hard-wearing floor.

Installing natural Stone

Natural stone is already being tiled in the bathrooms on the second and third floors. The daylight bathrooms are fitted with cream-colored natural stone, while the bathrooms without daylight are designed in very light-colored stone. The natural stone and marble tiles laid in Brenners Park come mainly from Italy and were selected with particular attention to quality and aesthetics.

Dismantling the scaffolding

In mid-December, removal of the scaffolding began on the park side of the main building. The third, fourth and fifth upper floors can already be admired in all their glory from Lichtentaler Allee. The iconic green and white striped blinds have also been installed and the first functional tests will be carried out during the scaffolding construction. A small part of the scaffolding will be retained for the time being in order to finish the zinc cladding on the dormers.

We are excited about the upcoming weeks and months as we progress with the renovation of our main building. We will keep you updated regularly on the progress and provide you with exclusive insights into the changes our hotel is undergoing.
